And the days to come

Le Chateau Ambulant (from Howl's Moving Castle) - Joe Hiraishi

This sums up my feelings for the past few rainy yet enjoyable days.

Requiem For A Dream - Clint Mansell

And this depicts the days to come.

I'm alone, by myself

The rain brought back the melancholy in me. Memories surged through while I walked back the quiet, lonely path. Many things changed. The badminton court which I used to play around with the neighbors and with my family, was gone. Stood in its place was a new shelter.

Why everything has to change "for the better"?

Damn malware, spywares and trojans

Now I'm resorting to using my Macbook at home instead. Not that it's a bad thing. But it's kind of frustrating when viruses are already acting on me and it's going for my PC now. Hope I don't lose all the data or I'll cry. But at the very least, all of my major project's work is in the MP lab's computer.

Life's isn't really tough but it's tough for me to get back. The ever-changing horrible weather is taking a toll on me and my poor nose. My nose have been sneezing and runny for the past three days without fail. How can I get past this tiring week and the few more weeks ahead. So much to be done, so little energy. ):

SNSD ownzzzzzzz

Just as the Wondergirl's craze is over, I'm going for SNSD wave.

Something's just not right

Staring at the computer everyday from 9 to 6 isn't a good practice at all. My vision's all blurry and I'm having frequent headaches. The time I spent staring at the computer doing work since year 1 till now could probably add up to the hours you have been experiencing since young. Yes, it's that long of a time.

Anyway, my body clock is still screwed. No matter how many hours I sleep, I would still wake up only at 9. Unless you counted the times my dad slapped me awake, I would often fail to crawl out even when the sun is burning my snoozing ass.

Evidence:

1.  I slept practically the whole of last Sunday in hope that I would wake up early and proper for school on Monday but I overslept and woke up at 9.30pm instead.

2. My internet was down just because I unplugged the effing LAN cable for a moment. So the furious me went to bed early on Monday instead of making the computer crash and burn in hell. I woke up late on Tuesday morning(again!).

I have given up hope of trying to do the "sleep early, wake up early" routine. It just doesn't work for me.

Anyway, the days was pretty "fruitful" in a sense. Major project game concept hasn't been decided yet so I did some self-learning in Apache, php and mySQL. Today, Apache has been giving me trouble so I did my drum score and concept instead.

Ein, Zwei, Drei is done. All that's left is Vier and Fünf. And it's a super nice 5 minutes even without Marc's damn cool prologue. Super nice + damn cool = super-duper-ultra cool and fantastic, which is our score.

Okok, probably not really fantastic yet but I'm kind of amazed by the stuff I came up with. I know for a fact that my rhythm sense quite sucked and the rhythms aren't really difficult and fanciful but somehow, the feeling for the rhythms are just about right.

Enough of my rants and whatever. Everyone, have a good night. Don't screw your body clock like I do.

Phantasm, the collection of the Six. Null, the past; Ein, the loneliness; Zwei, the confusion; Drei, the happiness; Vier, the despair; Fünf, the never-ending solitude.

This fall

While we Singaporeans are experiencing the devilish weather, the Japanese are enjoying their fall season. This season's anime shall make up for my torturing days ahead.

In order of preference, here are some of the anime releasing this fall. I'm kind of lagging behind. The first episode was aired on Japan TV last week. Anyway:

kimi ni todoke #1
1. Kimi ni Todoke

The story is about this girl, Kuronuma Sawako, and her life in high school. She's constantly left out by everyone around and is nicknamed Sadako from The Ring. Her schoolmates believed that she is jinx and tries to stay away. However, a popular boy named Shota Kazehaya chose to believe otherwise and talks to her. In the latest episode 2, three other classmates joined Kazehaya and befriended Sawako.

kobato #1
2. Kobato

Brought to us by CLAMP, the same studio which produced Cardcaptor Sakura, Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicles and Chobits. Yet another great, pseudo-fantasy story. Kobato comes from some alternate-faraway-random-dimension place and aims to heal people's hearts and collecting the "suffering of people" into a flask. By doing so, she can go to somewhere(which is not told yet).

letter bee #1
3. Letter Bee, Tegami Bachi

Letter Bee, someone who delivers any package to anywhere in the world. That's the rough idea of the show where the main lead(supposedly), Gauche Suede, collects a package to be delivered and it turned out to be a 12-year-old boy.

fairy tail #1
4. Fairy Tail

Adapted from the popular manga series, it's a pretty high-rated show. Somehow the anime adaptation didn't seem to enticing to me. Natsu, the main lead, just looks like a clone of Luffy from One Piece. And you may think the authors are the same bu no, the authors are different. Fairy Tail's author is famous for the hit series, Rave. Anyway, the only reason I'm drawn to this show is because Aya Hirano is doing the voiceovers for Lucy, the female blonde girl.

I'm really happy with the anime series this season. One reason is because the story and plot are really good. Another reason is because my favourite seiyuus are in the shows.

Jun Fukuyama, is voicing for Gauche Suede in Letter Bee. He is famous by his role as Lelouch Lamperouge in Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion and Kyoutarou Suga in Saki.

Kana Hanazawa, is voicing as Hanato Kobato in Kobato. Her works include the recent Sengoku Nadeko in Bakemonogatari and Mikan Yuuki in to-Love-ru.

Mamiko Noto as
Kuronuma Sawako in Kimi ni Todoke. She did voiceovers for significant roles like Kotomi Ichinose in Clannad, Nodoka Miyazaki in Magical Teacher Negima and Hakkou in Canaan.

Last but not least is Aya Hirano as Lucy in Fairy Tail. She voiced for Suzumiya Haruhi in The Melancholy of Suzumiya Haruhi, Misa Amane in Deathnote, Konata Izumi in Lucky Star, Yuki Morikawa in White Album, Shinobu Oshino in Bakemonogatari and omg, she's voicing for Kimi ni Todoke as Ume Kurumisawa.

Damn, I forgot to mention White Album and Fullmetal Alchemist. But they are doing continuations this fall. The ones I mentioned earlier are new and noteworthy! :D
