Something as simple as seeing couples made me feel the loneliness within.
Something as simple as being with drum mates brought back memories of what it felt like eons back.
Something as simple as a bagel and coffee made my day.

If war movies were your thing, you would have known the constant fear the people at war were put in. The fear of death, the fear of being the only one left or just the fear itself eating up your sound mind.

I was under the paranoia of many things that it was just like a never ending war in my mind, the two selves warring against each other trying to prove that their ways were the best of my future.

Picture an angel and a devil in your head, laying down the reasoning for the choices you should make and the path you should take. While some are sure of their choices, others are put under the pressure of choosing the easy way(and probably not the morally right choice). I was sure, then.

Now it felt like doing more means that I'm the dumb one when the smart ones are those who squirm and scrape through. If the effort I have put to do my work now was used in my studies, I would have aced my subjects.

Subjective as it may be. Irrationality is what I have seen.
